Meet the Gimlets
The Gimlet works for a mysterious corporation which sends him on frequent business trips. His volunteer work as a scoutmaster keeps him busy, but when he has free time he can often be found at the big box hardware store, planning his future home improvement projects. We believe that he is actually a superhero in disguise. |

Thing One, age thirteen, is a busy eighth grader: he is a Life Scout, plays cello in the school’s orchestra, and acted in both the school’s fall play and spring musical last year. He enjoys models and drawing cartoons. He is a kind, patient, and very helpful big brother. |
Thing Two is three. He likes birds and monkeys, soft things, and being read and sung to. He loves his church nursery class and every week expresses the hope that the lesson will be about tigers. (Sorry, not yet.) He’s still shy around strangers, but once he warms up he turns on the dimply charm and is a shameless flirt. |

Your Humble Narrator is the least interesting person in the family, so she is content to say a great deal about everyone else. When pressed, she will admit to being a lady of a certain age who takes pleasure in a great many things. |
