Meet the Gimlets
|
|
The Gimlet may seem to have a responsible job, but he dreams of a career as a busker at the Pike Place Market, or perhaps the lead guitar in a middle-aged boy band. Daydreams aside, his volunteer work as a scoutmaster keeps him busy, but when he has free time he can often be found at the big box hardware store, planning his future home improvement projects. |

Thing One, age fifteen, is a busy high school sophomore: he is an Eagle Scout and active member of his Order of the Arrow chapter, and plays cello in the school’s orchestra. He enjoys photography, drawing cartoons and making computer animations. He is a kind, patient, and very helpful big brother. |

Thing Two is five. He likes preschool, birds, monkeys, and dinosaurs, soft things (especially his zip-front sweaters), and being read and sung to. As is the case with many small children, life with Thing Two occasionally resembles living with an insane Roman emperor, only with more hugs and fewer executions. |

Your Humble Narrator is the least interesting person in the family, so she is content to say a great deal about everyone else. When pressed, she will admit to being a lady of a certain age who takes pleasure in a great many things. |
Team Gimlet created their portraits here.
