Meet the Gimlets

The Gimlet works for a mysterious corporation which sends him on frequent business trips. His volunteer work as a scoutmaster keeps him busy, but when he has free time he can often be found at the big box hardware store, planning his future home improvement projects. We believe that he is actually a superhero in disguise. |

Thing One, age fourteen, is a busy high school freshman: he is a Life Scout, plays cello in the school’s orchestra, and was in the ensemble of this year’s spring musical. He enjoys drawing cartoons and making computer animations. He is a kind, patient, and very helpful big brother. |

|
Thing Two is four. He likes birds and monkeys, soft things (especially his zip-front sweaters), and being read and sung to. He loves preschool and his Primary class and every week expresses the hope that the lesson will be about tigers. (Sorry, not yet.) |

|
Your Humble Narrator is the least interesting person in the family, so she is content to say a great deal about everyone else. When pressed, she will admit to being a lady of a certain age who takes pleasure in a great many things. |
